ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
FIVE SIMPLE STEPS TO BECOMING ONE OF OUR FOOD VENDORS:
STEP ONE: APPLY EARLY
Food vendors who want to participate in any of the City of Kings Mountain events must submit an application and $100 fee to the City of Kings Mountain a minimum of twenty-eight (28) business days in advance of the event in which they are applying.
STEP TWO: INSURANCE
Vendors must have their insurance agent mail or fax a Certificate of Insurance showing current liability insurance coverage before application can be confirmed. The Certificate of Insurance must name the City of Kings Mountain as an additional insured. Fax #704-730-2107.
STEP THREE: HEALTH DEPT.
All food vendors must be approved by the Cleveland County Health Department by submitting an application and $75.00 application fee to the Cleveland County Health Department no less than 15 days in advance of the event. Temporary Food Establishment (TFE) applications are available by clicking here. If you have an annual permit with Cleveland County Health Department, an application should still be turned in, but no fee is required. Have further questions concerning the Health Department? STEP FOUR: SUBMIT MENU

STEP FIVE: COME PREPARED
The City of Kings Mountain does not provide water or sewer services for food vendors. All water required by the Cleveland County Health Department must be brought in by food vendors. There is no facility for gray water disposal. Restrooms cannot be used to dump any kind of liquids. Violators will be shut down immediately and must leave the event without a refund.
