  • When are you open?
Two nights only for 2018: Friday, October 26th and Saturday, October 27th. Tours begin at 7:30pm and run until each guest is through. You can arrive with your ticket any time between 7:00pm and 9:30pm for admission into this event!
  • How do I get there?
Located just off of I-85, we are frightfully simple to get to. The Kings Mountain Revolutionary Ghost Tour is held on the grounds of the Kings Mountain Gateway Trail. The address is: 807 S Battleground Ave, Kings Mountain, NC 28086 Park at or near the Gateway Trail, walk right up to the ticket booth, and you'll receive an armband for admission into the event.
  • When should I arrive?
Guests with tickets can arrive any time between 7:00pm and 9:30pm for admission to this event. You must present your printed ticket upon arrival!
  • Can I purchase tickets at the gate?
No. This event sells out each year - tickets will not be available at the gate.
  • I'm having trouble printing my tickets.
Nothing to worry about. Here are some steps to help you print your tickets, but know that you may also take a screenshot of your tickets on your phone and present that at the ticket booth. We can also look up your reservation if absolutely necessary. PRINT YOUR TICKETS: 1) Sign into HauntPay.com using your email address and password you created to place your order. 2) Once signed in, on the top right of the screen, there is an "ACCOUNT" tab. In that tab is a drop down box for "TICKETS". 3) After selecting the "TICKET" tab, you should see our event listed on that page with an orange button that says, "Print Tickets".
  • Is this like the ghost tour in Charleston?
Yes and No. There are no "ghost meters" that track paranormal activity or drawn-out spooky stories. It is part Ghost Tour, part haunted attraction set in the American Revolution with live actors, ghouls and zombies.
  • How long is the experience on the trail?
Your experience will be between 30 and 40 minutes. It differs for each group as a large section of the trail is walking. There is a hayride section that drags you deep into the heart of the woods. Keep your eyes peeled... there's trouble around every bend!
  • Is this handicap accessible?
Our event is not wheelchair accessible. All guests will be walking around a trail, and must be physically equipped to navigate stairs, board a hayride, and move through tight spaces.
  • Will my child be scared?
This all depends on the child. There will be darkness, claustrophobic environments, and loud explosions along the tour. We do not recommend this event for children under the age of 8. Carrying babies through the event is not allowed. No refunds if anyone chooses to not finish the haunt.
  • What happens if it is raining or if the weather is bad?
The Kings Mountain Revolutionary Ghost Tour will be held regardless of the weather, unless there are extreme circumstances. Tickets are non-refundable.
  • Can the zombies touch me?
The actors will not touch you. However, they will get close. Very close.
